How can I search for positions in a specific city?


Please conduct a job search for the country in which the city is located. After you have done the initial search (by country), it will be possible to search via cities in that country.


It is also possible to fill out an open candidate profile, in which you may specify where you would like to work. This open candidate profile may then be made available to hiring managers who may contact you if a suitable position opens up.


Why does my job search fail to bring back open positions?


There may not be open positions matching your search criteria. If you fill out an open candidate profile and ask to be informed of positions matching your interests, you will automatically be informed of new open positions.


Also, if you do consequent searches, the job search will search within the previous results, unless you press “New Search”. You can view the criteria used for your search by clicking on the “Selected Search Criteria”, which will appear after you have done a job search.


How can I submit my CV via email?


Unfortunately, we can not accept CVs via email. Instead, please submit an open candidate profile. This way your CV will be available to many hiring managers and recruiters.


How can I apply for a trainee (internship) or thesis worker position?


Our vacancies for all positions, including trainee (internship) and thesis worker positions, can be found on www.nokia.com/careers. Please apply to positions via these pages. More information on applying to trainee (internship) or thesis worker positions can be found at www.nokia.com/students.


How can I apply for a graduate position?


Please see www.nokia.com/graduates or www.nokia.com/careers for information on open graduate positions.


Why does my session time out?


The session timeout is 60 minutes. This means that after 60 minutes of inactivity, the user is automatically logged out. After 40 minutes of inactivity, the user will get a pop-up message notifying him/her that the session willl end in 20 minutes. The session times out in order to protect your information and it is also a security feature.


When will my application be deleted?


Due to legal regulations, application data will be stored for two years from the last update (six months for applications for jobs in Denmark).

How can I be sure that my application has been received?


When you apply for a position, you will see a thank you message on the screen. Additionally, an email confirmation will be sent to your email address. When you login into your candidate profile, you will also be able to see what jobs you have applied to already (indicated with a pencil beside the job title in the job list).


When can I expect feedback on my CV?


Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to every CV that we receive. You will be contacted in the event that we move forward with your application.
