Nokia recently concluded the largest-ever mobility consumer insight study, consisting of nearly 10 billion data points, and we eagerly shared the results with more than 2400 delegates. We organized the Nokia World 2006 seminar streams to cover the key consumer drivers in mobility today, as well as technologies that enable us in the mobility industry to respond to those key needs.

In addition to the keynote speakers, Expo and Nokia Party on Wednesday, conference participants were able to choose from seminars based around three dedicated streams.

How to leverage the power of lifestyle purchasing in the mobile domain

Expressing oneself as an individual is a key consumer need. We also believe that self expression is a fundamental way of truly bonding and interacting with like-minded souls. The Inspiring Senses seminar stream discusses how to ensure there is enough inspiration in the mobile offering. We will discover how style and lifestyle can create great opportunities to reach the more aspirational consumer segments.

This stream is aimed at those who want to know more about how to leverage the power of lifestyle purchasing in the mobile domain. This is your place to profit from this world of ideas, devices, and software that help consumers live and express their individuality through style trends, premium design, contemporary culture, or active lives!

How to satisfy - and grow - the demand for core mobility

Not all people are highly involved with technology or with the mobility industry. However, people need to stay connected and involved in the lives of their loved ones. Therefore, it’s upon us in the mobility industry to ensure that the everyday connection can be made as easy and comfortable as possible. In reality, it is not always so easy. Sometimes technologies may seem too complex--even threatening. Within this stream we will discuss how to exploit the opportunities to address people who are not highly involved with technologies and how to create offerings that are both progressive and simple.

This stream is aimed at those working with marketing and business development who want to know how to satisfy - and grow - the demand for core mobility. This is your place to connect to new markets and satisfy the on-going demand to keep in touch, simply.

How to take advantage of real business opportunities in new services through technology

To meet consumer desires, technologies and networks are constantly evolving to enable the advanced services, secure connections, and affordability that make mobility increasingly attractive and vital. Everyone has increased expectations from mobility: end-users, network operators, shareholders. In the Enabling Greater Potential seminar stream you can learn how to make the most of your network through innovative technology, end-user insight and support services. This is your place to enable greater potential through quality-focused and cost-efficient networks!

This stream is aimed at operator and service providers who are interested in how to keep current and attract new subscribers by implementing, positioning and marketing service offerings enabled by new technologies while optimising the current capital investment.
