Supplier self-assessments are often used as a complementary tool to our on-site supplier assessments. These surveys are developed within Nokia and then sent to the supplier. Once completed, the supplier returns the answers to us with any available supporting evidence. Responses are reviewed for further action when necessary.

From an environmental perspective, we conducted self-assessment studies in 1999, 2001, and 2004.
