Ari Virtanen heads the Multimedia Business Group’s Convergence Products with the global business responsibility of Nokia’s new Internet optimized multimedia computers, including the current leading product, the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet.

Within his 18 years with Nokia Ari has had multiple senior business and technology leadership positions, like the global responsibility of Nokia’s mobile switching business and technology platforms. During those assignments he lived several years in Palo Alto, California. Ari has a master's degree in computer science and industrial economics.
