Gaetano Borriello is the Noe Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington in Seattle and is the founding director of Intel Research Seattle. His research interests are in ubiquitous computing, personal sensing devices, sensor systems, radio-frequency identification, and applications in health care and in the developing world.
