Jean-Paul Jeanrenaud joined WWF in 1990. In December 2000, he was appointed Head of the new Business and Industry Relations Unit at WWF International. His responsibilities include planning, initiating and leading B&I policy work for the WWF Network and developing business partnerships for sustainable conservation and development.

Jean-Paul is also a founding director of One Planet Living (OPL), a new partnership initiative which aims to build a worldwide network of communities demonstrating the benefits of sustainable living.

He holds a Master's degree in Forestry and Land Management, a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies and a Teaching Diploma.
