Jyri Huopaniemi is Laboratory Director at Nokia Research Center, heading the Interaction Core Technology Center. He joined Nokia in 1998 and is currently responsible for Nokia’s strategic and long-term research on usability and user interfaces, new human practices and design, multimedia and personal content technologies, immersive communication, collaboration and community technologies. Jyri received his doctoral degree from Helsinki University of Technology in 1999.
