Head of Mobile Phones, Nokia

Kai Öistämö has been the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Phones business group of Nokia since 2005. He will head the Devices unit when the new Nokia organization becomes effective on 1 January 2008.

He joined the company in 1991 and has held several different managerial positions within Mobile Phones business group, such as Product Manager, Vice President TDMA Business Line, Senior Vice President, Nokia Mobile Phones as well as Senior Vice President, Business Line Management.

Kai has a Doctorate degree in technology and a Master of Science degree in Engineering.
