Sound Meter
The sound meter is a fun and useful feature that allows you to measure the estimated noise level of your surroundings (dB representation).

The phone displays a vertical bar meter that shows the noise level graphically. There is also a numerical presentation of the sound level. The peak value is shown in a frame on the top and the current value is presented underneath.

When you press Options you get a list of four choices:
  • With Reset peak you can reset the peak value.
  • With Hold peak both values are shown but the peak value is updated only when the current noise level is greater than the peak value.
  • With Dynamic peak both values are shown but the peak value is valid only for 5 seconds
  • With Noise tuning you can simulate the sensitivity of the hearing mechanism for different frequencies. You can choose between low noise (sounds < 85 dB) and loud noise (sounds > 85 dB).

    Note
The sound meter in this phone gives approximate values only and should not be used for professional purposes.
It is not possible to measure the estimated noise level of a call in progress. Also, you cannot use the sound meter when a headset is connected.
