To install and run the Nokia Modem Options you need:
- An Intel compatible PC equipped with Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP
- For the connection between the Nokia 5100 and PC you need a compatible
infrared or USB port on your PC
Note: IRCOMM upgrade needed for Windows 2000
(Not needed, if you use the DKU-5 cable)
If your PC is running Windows 2000, make sure that you have upgraded it with the IrCOMM patch. Without the IrCOMM patch installed, you will not be able to make data calls with your PC using your Nokia 5100 phone.
