Essential indicators

You have received one or several text or picture messages. See Messaging.

You have received one or several multimedia messages. See MMS messages.

The phone’s keypad is locked. See Your phone.

The phone does not ring for an incoming call or text message when Incoming call alert is set to Off, and/or none of the caller groups has been set to alert in the Alert for setting, and Message alert tone is set to Off.

The alarm clock is set to On.

The countdown timer is running.

The stopwatch is running in the background. See Stopwatch.

The (E)GPRS connection mode Always online is selected and the (E)GPRS service is available. The indicators for GPRS and (E)GPRS are the same. See Mobile Browsing.

An (E)GPRS connection is established. See Applications & Browsing.

The (E)GPRS connection is suspended (on hold), for example if there is an incoming or outgoing call during an (E)GPRS dial-up connection. See Applications & Browsing.

Infrared connection. The indicator is blinking when the connection is being established. When the connection is activated, the indicator is shown continuously. See Infrared.

or If you have two phone lines, the indicator displays the selected phone line.

All incoming calls are diverted to another number. For two phone lines, the indicators are and .

The loudspeaker is activated, for example, during a call.

Calls are limited to a closed user group.

A headset, handsfree, loopset or music stand is connected to the phone. See Enhancements.

Push to talk has been switched on. If the connection to the Push to talk service is lost the phone will automatically try to log back into service until user switches Push to talk off. See Push to talk.

Push to talk is temporarily unavailable. See Push to talk.
Display settings
Press Menu and select Settings and Display settings. Select, for example, Wallpaper to select a wallpaper, Time and date settings to set the time and date.
