How many characters can I write in one SMS message?
Nokia 5210 uses concatenated SMS which means that you can write up to 459 characters in one message (this is 3 times longer message than normal SMS messages. Note: the invoicing of multi-part messaging may vary depending on your operator! )

Does Nokia 5210 support chat messaging?
Yes, the Chat function allows you to to have a conversation with another party by using text messages similar to chat services on the Internet. Chat messages are not saved on SIM card.

How do I use templates, smileys and picture messaging?
You can choose these features from your Messages menu. Templates give you standard messages as a starting point for your message, or you can even create your own standard templates.

Smileys are familiar from e-mail, and the Insert smiley function allows you to add a smiley character such as :-) to your message. You can also create your own smiley!

With picture messaging you can made your messages more personalised by sending a picture and attaching a text with it. (Note: sending one picture message may cost more than one text message. Also you can send and receive picture messages only to and from Nokia phones that support the picture messaging feature).

Can I send message to multiple recipents?
You are able to send the same message to more than one person via the multiple copies function. Choose Options - Send to many and you message reaches several people!
