How many names and numbers can I save in the phone book?
You can save 250 names and numbers in the phone's internal phone book. The phone also supports SIM cards that can save up to 250 names and phone numbers.

How many speed dials can be stored in the Nokia 5210?
Speed dialling with up to 9 names.

How many voice tags can be stored in the Nokia 5210?
For voice dialling you can save up to 10 voice tags.

Call register

How many dialled, received and missed calls are registered in the Nokia 5210?
20 resent dialled numbers are registered, 10 received and 10 missed calls.

Profiles

What kind of profiles does Nokia 5210 have?
Your phone has the followinf profiles: General, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor, My Style and (empty).

What are timed profiles and animated full display profile logos?
With Timed Profiles you can set a time for a profile to expire (up to 24 hrs). When you have selected a timed profile a icon the idle mode will indicate that a profile is timed. After the timed profile expire the profile will automatically return to the previously set profile.

The animated full display profile logo can be activated under the Profile menu (General-Personalise -> activate the preferred Profile Logo by pressing Select). There are different types of profile logos (animations, still pictures and digital clock.

Calculator

What can I do with the calculator function?
You can Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide, Change sign and also make currency conversion (Exhange rate).

Calendar

Does the Nokia 5210 calendar have some new useful functions?
The calendar can accommodate up to 100 calendar notes. You can send the the calendar notes to many recipients simultaneously and view the calendar two-weeks at a time. Additionally you can save sport specific Training icons as calendar notes. There are 20 predefined Training Icons, representing different global sporting activities from jogging to horserace.

Using the new Training Icons

  • Press Menu and select Calendar. Scroll to the date you want and press Options
  • Select Make a note, then select Training of the note items (Training, Reminder, Call, Meeting or Birthday)
  • Select the desired Training note item of a list of sports indicated by sports name. Key in a subject, the date and time of training event, then set the alarm for the note, if needed. Press OK after each action. The alarm is indicated by alarm clock icon when you view the notes
  • When all fields are filled in the training calendar note,"Calendar note saved" is displayed. To distinguish the training events from other calendar notes, the phone displays a specific icon for each sporting activity for example "Hockey icon" for hockey

Infrared

What is the infrared?
You can set your phone to receive data through its infrared (IR) port. To use an IR connection, the device with which you want to establish a connection must be IrDA compliant. You can send and receive data such as business cards (names and phone numbers in the phone book) and calendar notes to and from the IR port of your phone.
