WAP means Wireless Application Protocol services such as banking, online games, weather services, news and entertainment. These services are specially designed for mobile phones and they are maintained by WAP service providers. (Note: Check the availability of WAP services, pricing and tariffs with your network operator and/or WAP service provider!).

How do I obtain access to the wap services?
To obtain access to WAP services, you need to

  • be in a network which supports GSM data (CSD)
  • have a data service enabled in your SIM card
  • have a WAP access point from your network operator or WAP service provider, and enter the proper
  • WAP settings to your phone

WAP connection settings Before being able to use services via your phone, you need to store the required WAP connection settings to your phone.

Getting the settings Over-the-Air You may receive the connection settings over the air from the network operator or service provider that offers the WAP service that you want to use. Information on how to receive the setting can be obtained from your network operator and/or WAP service provider.
