Then, a tone sounds to
show that access is granted to the group and the
phone displays your nickname and group name.
Making a Call to a Non-default
Group
Press Menu
and select Push to
talk.
You select Group
list , scroll to the desired group, and press
the PTT key.
You then press and
hold thePTT
key the entire time you are talking.
When you've finished,
release the PTT key.
In group calls, talking is
allowed on a first-come, first-served basis. When
someone stops talking, the first person to press the
PTT key can talk next.
NOTE
Group status can be Default,
Listened,
or Inactive.
Default and Listened are active groups. When you
press the PTT key to make a group call, the default
group is called if you have not scrolled to any
other group or contact.
