To read e-mail messages on
your phone, you first have to download them from your
e-mail account. If the message memory is full, delete
some of your older messages before you start to download
new messages.
Downloading e-mail Messages
Press Menu,
Select Messages,
and
E-mail.
Select Retrieve
to download e-mail messages.
A status bar is shown
while your phone is downloading e-mail messages
to your phone. Wait until the messages are retrieved.
When the new messages
are downloaded, you press Select
to view the new message in Inbox.
You can press Back
to view it later. If you receive more than one message,
select the message that you want to read.
Reading
and Replying to an e-mail Message
While reading a message,
you can press Options
to view the details of the message. You can
mark the message as unread, delete, reply, reply
to all, forward or move the message to another folder.
To reply to the e-mail,
you press Reply.
To include the original
message in the reply, select Original
text.
Once you have keyed in
the message you can send the message by pressing
Send.
You can then select to
Send now or
Send later.
Deleting
e-mails
To delete e-mail messages,
press Menu,
and select Messages,
E-mail. Press Options,
and select Delete
messages.
To delete all messages
from a folder, select the folder from which you
want to delete the messages, and press Yes.
To delete all messages
from all folders, select
All messages, and press Yes.
Deleting an e-mail from
your phone does not delete it from the e-mail server.
