You can create a list of contacts whose presence status information you want to be aware of. You can view the information if the contacts allow you to view it and if it is not prevented by the contact or network. You can view these subscribed contacts either by scrolling through the contacts or via the Subscribed names menu.

To connect to the Presence service, press Menu and select Contacts, My presence and Connect to My presence service.

Adding contacts to the subscribed contacts

1. Press Menu and select Contacts and Subscribed names. If you have not connected to the Presence service, the phone asks if you want to connect now.
2. If you do not have any contacts on your list, press Add. Otherwise, press Options and select Subscribe new. The list of your contacts is shown.
3. Select a contact from the list and if the contact has an ID saved, the contact is added to the subscribed contacts list. If there is more than one ID, select one of them. After subscription to the contact, Subscription activated is shown.

Subscribing to a contact from Contacts list

1. Press the scroll key down in standby mode and scroll to the contact you want to subscribe to.
2. Press Details and press Options. To subscribe, select Request presence and select As subscription.

If you only want to view the presence information but not subscribe to a contact, select Request presence and One time only.
