Sending and receiving data via IR
  IR Connection indicator

You can set up the phone to receive data through its infrared (IR) port.

To use an IR connection, the device with which you want to establish a connection must be IrDA compliant.

Via the IR port of your phone, you can transfer data from compatible phone or data device (for example, a laptop computer) to another. This data includes such items as business cards and calendar notes.

To learn more about connecting with IR, click an option from the Infrared menu.

        NOTE
The preferable distance between the two devices in an IR connection is one meter at most.
