If Nokia Connection Manager crashes, you can try to ”kill” the process. To do that, press CTRL+alt+del and kill the NCLtray.exe process.

If you have problems uninstalling Nokia PC Suite (e.g. the Nokia Connection Manager icon stays on the PC after the uninstallation), you can uninstall Nokia PC Suite manually.

To do this:

• Check from the task manager that NCLtray.exe (and any other ncl processes) is not running.
• Rename the folder C:\Program Files\Common files\Nokia (if it still exists). You can also delete this folder, but it includes the SMS folder, which you may want to keep.
• Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia PC Suite 5.
• Reboot the machine.
