1. I have first and last names in their own fields in Outlook
and the sorting order there is Lastname, Firstname. Now, after synchronizing
them to my phone, they have changed places so that the order is
now Firstname Lastname. What’s wrong?
The phone has only one name field. Firstname and lastname are being
synchronized to the phone in this order and to the same field. If
you want to have the Lastname first in your phone, you can put them
both into either the firstname or lastname field in Outlook and
synchronize them to the phone.
2. There is no option on the phone’s UI (user interface) to
set the end date for repeating items. PC Sync cannot set the end
date because the phone does not have this particular feature.
An appointment in Outlook that lasts longer than one day cannot
be synchronized in the phone. The phone does not support this.
3. I have a recurring Outlook event and it didn’t go over to
my phone in the synchronization. What’s wrong?
If you want a recurring event to your phone, you need to include
the first, original appointment of the recurrence inside the synchronization
time frame in the PC Sync properties.
4. I have an Outlook calendar event recurring every three days
and I tried to synchronize it to my phone. However, it’s not there
after synchronization. What’s wrong?
The Nokia PC Sync supports daily, weekly, every other weekly, monthly
and annual recurrences.
