The PC Suite 4.81 consists of the following applications:

Nokia Application Installer

With Nokia Application Installer you can install JavaTM applications from your PC to your 6310i phone. The applications can be any kind of J2METM applications, e.g. calculators, calendars or games. You can download the applications from www.club.nokia.com or from other service providers' pages. You can also install Java applications that you have made yourself.

Nokia PC Sync

Nokia PC Sync allows you to synchronize contacts and calendar/to-do items between your Nokia 6310i and your PC Personal Information Manager (PIM) (e.g. Outlook), enabling you to keep the information up-to-date on both your phone and PC. The wide selection of synchronization options makes it possible to personalize synchronization according to your needs and preferences.

New Synchronisation

This application allows you to define how the Synchronisation between your Nokia 6310i and your PIM takes place. You can define whether you phone overwrites your PC or vice versa, which types of information are synchronised and when synchronisation takes place. You must create a new synchronisation before you use the Nokia PC Sync application.

Nokia Content Copier

The Nokia Content Copier wizard allows you to:

• Copy data from one Nokia phone to a PC and from a PC to another Nokia phone (if you want to transfer your data to a new phone or if you have two phones that you use)
• Make and restore a backup of your phone data to you PC in case you lose your phone or it becomes damaged
• Erase data from your phone and SIM card

Nokia PC Composer

Nokia PC Composer allows you to create ringing tones for your Nokia 6310i. You can compose a new ringing tone from scratch, or edit an existing music file to create a new ringing tone. Additionally, you can send ringing tones to other Nokia phones.

Nokia PC Graphics

Nokia PC Graphics allows you to draw and edit various picture types, and transfer them between your Nokia 6310i and a PC. In addition, you can send pictures to other Nokia phones. You can draw, edit, transfer, and send the following picture types:

• Group logos (the logo shown on the display of the phone when you receive a call from the member of that particular group)
• Picture messages (text messages that contain pictures)
• Operator logos (the logo shown on the display of the phone when it is in standby mode)

Nokia PC Wap Manager

Nokia PC WAP Manager enables you to manage the WAP settings of your Nokia 6310i on a PC. You can:

• Add and manage bookmarks
• Edit and activate service settings
• Import and export bookmarks and service settings between a file on your PC and Nokia PC WAP Manager

Nokia Phone Editor

Nokia Phone Editor allows you to manage various phone functions easily from a PC. Nokia Phone Editor consists of four applications:

Contacts Allows you to manage contact information in the phone and PC memories. You can add and edit contacts, copy and move contacts from one memory to another and send business cards as text messages to other GSM subscribers.

Messages Enables you to read, write and send text messages directly from your PC. You can organise messages into folders on the PC memory.

Profiles Allows you to modify the profile and caller group settings of your Nokia 6310i.

Settings Contains various system-related settings, message settings and your business card information.
