Keys and connectors

Learn the basic keys and connectors with the animation below.


The Nokia 6800 is designed to make writing as easy and intuitive as possible. With a carriage return, backspace and shift key, the QWERTY keyboard is exactly what you're already used to.

The screen rotates 90 degrees in open mode, so to make things easier, the power key becomes the left selector key and the joystick adapts as well. The unique 4-way joystick also makes it easier to navigate menus, browse your calendar, or dodge space aliens.

Standby shortcuts:

When your phone is in standby mode, you can go directly to your calendar by moving the joystick right, moving the joystick left starts a new text message.
