To use the e-mail function on your phone, you need an e-mail account and two types of settings in your phone: 1) Service settings that contain the access point settings for e-mail and 2) E-mail settings. Firstly, set the service settings, secondly, select the access point that you want to use, and then key in the e-mail settings. Check the correct settings with your network opeartor/ e-mail service provider. See an example of the e-mail settings in the simulation below.
