You can save names and phone numbers (Contacts) in the phone’s memory and in the SIM card’s memory. In the phone's memory you can also save additional details such as e-mail or home addresses and images.

Checklist: Contacts

Before organizing your Contacts, you may have to do the following:
  • If you want to use the more sophisticated contact organizing option, such as caller groups or distribution lists, you should save the names in either the phone's own memory or both in the SIM and phone memory.

Saving multiple numbers or text items per name

Adding an image to a name or number in contacts

Caller groups

Copying contacts
Shortcut key
To save a contact quickly in standby mode, key in the phone number. Press Options and select Save. Key in the name, press OK and Done.
Tip
To be on the safe side, remember to make a back-up of your phone every once in a while with the Nokia Content Copier.
