It
is recommended that you regularly make a backup of your
Nokia 7210 on your PC. This way, if you lose your phone
or it becomes damaged, you have a copy of your phone book,
calendar, the wallet and phone setting information, which
you can easily restore to your phone.
Backing Up Your Nokia 7210
Open the Nokia Content Copier application.
Click Next on the welcome note.
Select the action you want to perform (Copy data
from a phone to a PC) and click Next.
Connect your Nokia 7210 to your PC via infrared
or cable. When Nokia Content Copier has registered
the connection with your Nokia 7210, click Next.
Nokia Content Copier will now copy your data from
your phone to your PC. When it has finished, click
Next.
You can now choose where to save your phone data
by clicking Save data and selecting a location
on your PC. The files are saved in .ncc format.
After you have done this, click Next and then
Finish. You have now made a backup of your
phone data.
Restoring a Backup to Your Nokia 7210
Open the Nokia Content Copier application.
Click Next on the welcome note.
Select the action you want to perform (Copy data
from a PC to a phone) and click Next.
Connect your Nokia 7210 to your PC via infrared
or cable. When Nokia Content Copier has registered
the connection with your Nokia 7210, click Next.
Select the data you want to restore to your Nokia
7210 and also select the source folder where you saved
your backup. (Do this by clicking the Select source
folder button and browsing for the correct folder.)
After you have done this, click Next.
Nokia Content Copier will now transfer the data
to your Nokia 7210. After it has done this, click
Finish. You have now restored your phone data
to your phone.
