Troubleshooting
You may need to...
... think carefully about whether you want your Nokia 7210 to overwrite your PC or vice-versa in case of a conflict. You should consider which calendar or contacts application you keep most up to date and select that one as the master.
Did you know...
When synchronizing the next time, start the synchronization from the PC Sync menu item in the Start menu if you want to use the same settings.
You will not be able to edit Calendar/To-do or Contacts settings if you did not choose to include them in the synchronization on the General tab.

To synchronize your calendar and phone book information for the first time, you must set up the synchronization task.

To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Connect your Nokia 7210 to your PC via infrared or cable and open the New Synchronization application.

  2. In the Configure Nokia PC Sync window, select the PC application you want to synchronize with (the one that you use for your calendar and contacts information) and click OK. The Nokia PC Sync Properties window opens.

  3. On the Summary tab you can see the current synchronization settings.

  4. To enter general synchronization settings, click the General tab. Click Advanced to enter more advanced options.

  5. On the Calendar/To-do tab, you can specify settings for synchronizing calendar and to-do items.

  6. On the Contacts tab, you can specify settings for synchronizing contacts.

  7. To enter PC application-specific settings, click the tab with the name of the PC application that you selected.

  8. Click OK.

  9. To run the synchronization task that you created, click the Synchronize now button in the Nokia PC Sync Properties window.
