You
can install various types of Java applications,
such as games, travel dictionaries and personal data management
applications, to your Nokia 7210.
To do so:
Download the Java application file types to
your PC. The file types that you need to install an
application to your 7210 phone are .jad and
.jar files. If you download the applications
from the web, make sure that you get both the .jad
and .jar files and save them in the same folder on
your PC.
Connect your phone to the PC.
Open Nokia Application Installer.
Click Install... on the tool bar or select
it from the File menu
If there is more than one phone connected to the
PC, a dialog will open asking you to select the phone
to install the application in.
An installation dialog box opens. Browse to the
directory where you have saved the .jad and .jar files.
Select the .jad file of the application you want
to install and click Install. Nokia Application Manager
finds the .jar file automatically if the two have
been saved in the same folder.
A progress bar is shown while the installation process
is ongoing.
If you want to remove applications from the phone,
use the Erase functionality in the phone.
