Messaging Service (MMS) is reshaping the landscape of
mobile communication, making it more personal, more versatile,
and more expressive than ever before. The Nokia 7250i
offers advanced MMS with the integrated CIF camera.
With the Nokia 7250i, you can send and receive multimedia
messages made up of text and pictures as well as polyphonic
ringing tones. You can save the pictures and the ringing
tones to personalize your phone.
You can send, receive and forward MMS messages
that are up to 45 kB. The average size of an MMS is:
10 kB with text and default size image (122 x 96
pixels)
30 kB with text, image and sound (sounds can be
received, not sent/forwarded)
There is no specific maximum size limitation for the total
messaging storage. The messages are stored in the user
data area, which is shared between all Nokia 7250i applications.
The Gallery stores all the images in Nokia 7250i that were saved from a received multimedia message or transferred
to Nokia 7250i using the PC Suite software or IR. The
images can be included in multimedia messages if not specified
as copyrighted content type.
Higher quality images in supported formats up to the size
of a VGA camera image (digital camera, 640 x 480 pixels)
can be scaled onto the Nokia 7250i screen.
