Setting Up a Bluetooth Connection

In the Bluetooth menu, you can set up and manage Bluetooth connections.

To access the Bluetooth menu: Press Menu in standby mode and select Connectivity and Bluetooth.

The steps involved in setting up a Bluetooth connection are:

  1. Activate the Bluetooth feature: In the Bluetooth menu, select Bluetooth and On. When the Bluetooth feature is on, the indicator is shown at the top of the display.

  2. Select Search for audio enhancements in the Bluetooth menu to search for compatible Bluetooth devices.

  3. Select the device that you want to connect to the phone.

  4. Enter the device's Bluetooth passcode to associate ('pair') and connect the device to your phone. You only need to give this passcode when you connect to the device for the first time.

  5. Start using the device.
To check which Bluetooth device is currently connected to your Nokia 7600 phone, select View active device in the Bluetooth menu. If you want to close the connection to the selected device, press Disconnect.
