Setting Up the Nokia Audio Manager

The CD-ROM supplied with your Nokia 7600 phone contains the Nokia PC Suite software, which includes the Nokia Audio Manager application.

The system requirements to install and use Nokia Audio Manager are as follows:

  • An Intel compatible PC running Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system. Note that the software is not supported on a PC which has had its system upgraded from Windows 95 or 3.1 to Windows 98.
  • Pentium MMX 266 MHz processor (Pentium 300 MHz recommended)
  • At least 35 MB of free disc space, and additional space for music tracks
  • Minimum of 48 MB memory recommended, 64 MB suggested for Windows 2000
  • Display capable of 800 x 600 screen resolution with 65536 colors (High Color setting)
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator browser, version 4.0 or higher
  • USB port
  • CD-ROM drive
To install Nokia Audio Manager:
  • Start the Nokia Audio Manager installation from the CD-ROM supplied with your phone and follow the instructions on screen. You must restart the computer after the installation of Nokia Audio Manager.
To connect your Nokia 7600 to a compatible PC, use at least one of the following:
  • Infrared (IR) technology - by using an infrared port in your computer.
  • Bluetooth technology - by using a Bluetooth enabled PC with appropriate Bluetooth software.
  • The USB cable (DKU-2) supplied with your phone - connect the USB cable to a compatible port in your computer.
