Since Bluetooth devices communicate using radio waves, your phone and the other Bluetooth device do not need to be in line of sight.
   
A Bluetooth connection can be used to send faxes or to connect wirelessly to compatible Bluetooth accessories or to compatible computers.

With Bluetooth technology, the contacts and other data from the Nokia 8910 phone can be wirelessly transferred to a compatible PC. The phone can also be used as a modem.
