Insert or remove the SIM card

Do not attach any stickers to your SIM card.

Important:

This device is designed to be used with a standard SIM card (see figure) only. Use of incompatible SIM cards may damage the card or the device, and may corrupt data stored on the card. Please consult your mobile operator for the use of a SIM card that has a mini-UICC cutout.

A standard SIM card.
Insert the SIM card

  1. Switch the phone off, and remove the SIM card holder from the phone.

    With the front of the phone facing up and the bottom edge towards you, the SIM card slot is, from top to bottom, the first item on the right edge of the phone. Use your fingernail to pull the SIM card holder out of the slot.

  2. Turn the SIM card holder over.

    After turning over the SIM card holder, the solid side of the holder is facing down and the side with the opening is facing up.

  3. Make sure the contact area is facing up, and insert the SIM card into the SIM card holder.

    When placing the SIM card into the SIM card holder, make sure the missing corner of the SIM card matches the missing corner of the holder.

  4. Turn the SIM card holder over, and insert it back into the phone.

    After turning over the SIM card holder, the solid side of the holder is facing up and the side with the opening is facing down.
Remove the SIM card

  1. Switch the phone off, and remove the SIM card holder from the phone.

  2. Turn the SIM card holder over.

  3. Remove the SIM card.

  4. Turn the SIM card holder over, and insert it back into the phone.
