As Nokia Store evolves, so does the technology that drives it. Applications are now being written in Qt programming language which makes it easier for developers
to write content for multiple platforms. As a result, your phone may need to download additional files in order to run the Qt application.
Nokia does not charge any fees to download the necessary files required to run the application.
Please be aware that data charges with your operator may apply. Check that with your operator or use a WLAN (Wi-Fi) connection if available.
Usually it means that the application is still installed on your device although you thought you have already removed it.
For example if the application is installed to memory card and you reset the device, the application won’t be deleted.
Also note that some applications may install multiple binaries and you may need to uninstall all of them before application can be re-downloaded.
Please use the Application manager for uninstalling applications. Application manager can be usually found from Menu -> Settings but please refer to user guide for more details.
From Application manager select Installed applications, choose the application you want to remove and select Options -> Uninstall (or longpress the application name and select Uninstall).
In case of application which has installed multiple binaries ( for example Nokia Maps ODML, Nokia Maps Engine, etc) , uninstall all binaries one by one.
If necessary, reboot your device after the uninstallation and try re-downloading the application from Nokia Store.

Nokia Store is available in almost every country in the world, with following exceptions: Iran, Syria, Sudan, The People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), The People's Republic of Congo, Côte-d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and Cuba.
Nokia Music Player, when installing, sometimes defaults to a different Nokia Music Store than the one selected. Instead the installer selects the regional settings from the Operating System and sets the Nokia Music Store to that country. If this is the case, manually select the store of the country you wish to log in to.
At first, please, try to go to Edit > Options > Change Music Store location
For Windows XP, Vista Business/Enterprise and Windows 7 users:
*The MDataStore.db3 file is also used by Ovi Suite to store user data, such as: SMS, calendar entries and contact information. Therefore, users of Ovi Suite are advised to backup any user data before removing the .db3 file.
For Vista Home users:
*The MDataStore.db3 file is also used by Ovi Suite to store user data, such as: SMS, calendar entries and contact information. Therefore, users of Ovi Suite are advised to backup any user data before removing the .db3 file.
No. Although there may be some audio files available at Nokia Store, please visit Nokia Music Store at http://music.nokia.com for music.
The Nokia Music Player will only allow users to access the music store which was chosen during installation. If an incorrect store was chosen at this point then the user will not be able to access their 'home' store. The possible scenario is:
Close Nokia Music Player and *delete the MDataStore.db3 file:
*The MDataStore.db3 file is also used by Nokia Suite to store user data, such as: SMS, calendar entries and contact information. Therefore, users of Nokia Suite are advised to backup any user data before removing the .db3 file.
Both of these locations are in hidden folders. So, to view them users will need to: Open Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View > Show Hidden Files and Folders
Once Nokia Music is opened again the MDataStore.db3 file will be rewritten to this folder and music discovery will commence once again. This will need to be performed if users require to switch store country locations.
The S60 (Symbian series 60) Download Manager has a limitation to allow only 6 simultaneous downloads in the queue, this is the root cause of the problem. This issue is evident on all handsets with the S60 platform. If this situation occurs, the only solution is to reboot the device and try to access the store again selecting fewer downloads at any one time.
