Insert the SIM card

  1. Switch the phone off.

  2. To remove the back cover of the phone, press the back cover with your fingers, and slide it off.

    With the back of the phone facing up and the bottom edge facing you, press the centre of the cover, and slide it towards yourself.

  3. Remove the battery, if inserted.

    With the back of the phone facing up and the bottom edge facing you, lift the side of the battery that is closer to the top edge, and remove it.

  4. To unlock the SIM card holder, slide it in the direction indicated by the arrow on the holder. Lift the holder.

    With the back of the phone facing up and the bottom edge facing you, the SIM card holder is under the battery, on the left and closer to the bottom edge of the phone. Slide the holder to the left, and lift the holder from the right edge of the holder.

  5. Insert the SIM card into the holder. Make sure the contact area of the card would face down when the SIM card holder is lowered.

  6. Lower the SIM card holder.

    Make sure the missing corner of the SIM card would be closer to the top right corner of the phone when the SIM card holder is lowered. With the back of the phone facing up and the bottom edge facing you, to lock the SIM card holder, slide it to the right.

  7. To lock the SIM card holder, slide the holder to its original position.

Important:

This device is designed to be used with a standard SIM card (see figure) only. Use of incompatible SIM cards may damage the card or the device, and may corrupt data stored on the card. Please consult your mobile operator for the use of a SIM card that has a mini-UICC cutout.
