Insert a memory card

Use only compatible memory cards approved by Nokia for use with this device. Incompatible cards may damage the card and the device and corrupt data stored on the card.

Your phone supports memory cards with a capacity of up to 32 GB.

With the front of the phone facing you, the memory card slot is, from top to bottom on the left edge, the second item. Place your fingernail in the recess at the edge of the cover of the memory card slot that is closer to the bottom edge of the phone, and carefully pull the cover away from the phone. When inserting the memory card, make sure the narrow side of the memory card goes in first and that the straight edge of the memory card is closer to the bottom edge of the phone.

  1. Open the memory card slot cover (1, 2).

  2. Make sure the contact area of the card is facing up. Push the card in, until it locks into place (3).

  3. Close the cover.

Remove the memory card
Important:

Do not remove the memory card when an application is using it. Doing so may damage the memory card and the device and corrupt data stored on the card.

You can remove or replace the memory card without switching the phone off.

  1. Open the memory card slot cover.

  2. Push the card in, until it is released, and pull the card out.

  3. Close the cover.
