Do I lose the music tracks I have downloaded with my Comes With Music or Nokia Music Unlimited subscription when I update my phone to Nokia Belle software? - Nokia FAQ

Average Rating

If you have the music tracks stored on a memory card or mass memory, all your music tracks are kept safe during the software update to Nokia Belle. If you have the music tracks stored in the phone memory, they are only backed up if they are in C:\Data folder. DRM music licences required to play the music, however, cannot be backed up so you need to relicense all the copy protected music tracks you have on the phone.

Why I am not able to register with Nokia Music using Nokia Music Player in Windows Vista? - Nokia FAQ

Average Rating

If User Account Control (UAC) in your Windows Vista® computer is set on, that may prevent the registration. If registration fails, turn off UAC from Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Turn User Account Control on of off and clear the Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer check box, and then click OK. Then click Restart Now to apply the change right away. After computer has restarted try registration again. Once Nokia Music registration is successfully done turn on UAC as it is not recommended to leave UAC disabled.

Am I able to download music more than once using the Nokia Music service? - Nokia FAQ

Average Rating

Tracks downloaded using the Nokia Music Service (non Nokia Music Unlimited) are .mp3 files. These have no DRM restriction applied to them. As such, Nokia Music will allow users to download them again from their Music Vault from within the Nokia Music Player a limited number of times in case they have been lost, corrupted etc...

Open the Nokia Music Player > Sign in to your account > select Nokia Music tab > scroll down to Download history.

If the limit has been reached, and no further downloads are available, please contact Nokia Care for further support.
