1. Copy your old data.

Install the Welcome Home to Windows Phone app on your computer. This allows you to move all your pictures, videos and contacts in one go. Then connect your old phone to your computer. Check your sync settings and select the data you want to copy.

2. Download apps to move it for you

AppSwitch helps you to find the apps on your old phone and install or buy the same or similar ones in Windows Phone Store.

3. Sync your new phone with your PC

To make sure everything is up-to-date, sync all your cloud accounts on your old phone. Then add them to your new Lumia. It’s that simple.

If the Welcome Home to Windows Phone software cannot find any matching apps, check the region settings of your computer. On some Android versions, calendar entries are saved to a local calendar by default and will not be copied. You can recreate upcoming calendar entries conveniently at Outlook.com.
