Nokia's community involvement strategy focuses on two major areas: using mobile communications to stimulate development, and supporting young people. We aim to use our global reach to make a difference internationally because our products and services reach billions of people and can help on a very large scale. But we also play a role at a local level - in whichever way is most appropriate to development. Technology is not the solution to every problem, and by working with local non-profit organizations and governments we can address important needs in the areas around our operations.
