Since 1995, expert panels and government agencies have performed more than 110 reviews of the scientific evidence regarding health effects from RF exposure. The reviews consistently support the scientific conclusion that, RF fields operated at levels below the limits prescribed by international exposure standards such as ICNIRP present no adverse effects to humans.
The research also provides the scientific basis for regulating radio-transmitting devices including mobile phones and base station antennas. There are national and international guidelines that detail safe levels for exposure of the public. Such regulation is robustly applied in most countries, through monitoring and enforcement.
Organizations involved in specifying limits include:
“None of the recent reviews have concluded that exposure to the RF fields from mobile phones or their base stations causes any adverse health consequence. However, there are gaps in knowledge that have been identified for further research to better assess health risks.”

“There is no substantive evidence that adverse health effects, including cancer, can occur in people exposed to levels at or below the ICNIRP limits.”
