Camper widget for Basecamp project management
Basecamp has already made a name for itself as an innovative approach to project management and collaboration, and now the new Camper widget from Inova IT can connect your Web Runtime (WRT)-enabled S60 3rd Edition device directly to this powerful collaborative medium. The Camper widget can be installed as an application that gives you one-click access to your Basecamp account. Because all of the application’s components are installed on your S60 device, you are only transferring data, which reduces the bill for your data plan without losing the application’s rich user interface. Designed for mobile users, Camper provides a simple and optimized user experience to users who want to get Basecamp functionality, project collaboration, management and clear communication to their mobile phones.

Basecamp already has more than 1 million users worldwide who rely upon the service to securely share files, meet deadlines, assign tasks, and centralise feedback about a project. For most, it becomes not just a project management hub, but also a business relationship hub as well. And now, all this is accessible to you while on the go with Camper. Your personalised Dashboard page has sections that present your project lists, the flagging of late and upcoming milestones, a section for anything due within the next 14 days, and a list of the latest activity across your projects. There is also a To Do List page, where you can make lists, assign responsibility for the items, and check them off when you the list items have been completed. There is a File Sharing page that helps you to upload and manage files, a Message Boards page that keeps your communications relative to a project centralized, a Milestones page for calendaring, a Time Tracking page, a Project Overview page for a bird’s eye view of the project, and a page for Comments on Messages. The Camper widget has a free trial version for evaluation, and for longer-term usage there is a free project participant version that allows people to view projects and related data in order to to stay on track with their Basecamp projects.
