HAVA Player for S60
Want to watch something good on TV, but you are away from your TV set? No problem! HAVA Player for S60 from Monsoon Multimedia lets you watch live TV shows from your home TV on your S60 device through your device’s 3G or WLAN connection. All it takes is to purchase and install in your home one of the HAVA boxes from Monsoon Multimedia, and to install the free HAVA Player software on your S60. Monsoon also offers a free version of HAVA Player for the Nokia N810 and N800 Internet Tablets, which works with the WLAN or WiMAX connection of the device, or even over Bluetooth technology when paired to a 3G or 3.5G-enabled Nokia smartphone.

HAVA Player features an onscreen remote control that allows you to switch channels, browse your program guide, schedule or view recordings, buy Videos on Demand (VoDs) or anything you could do at home with your remote control from your sofa – all of that from your S60 device or Nokia Internet Tablet. It allows you to enjoy anything you would at home in front of your TV, but this time from anywhere you have high-speed Internet connectivity on your mobile device.

For example, it can allow you to watch your local TV channels through your mobile device while you are visiting other states, provinces or countries. The various HAVA models range in price between $99.99 and $249.99, and the S60 and Nokia N810 Internet Tablet client software are available as free downloads from Monsoon Multimedia’s Web site. The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet software is available at myhava.com/n8xxhava . The S60 software is available as a beta release at myhava.com/s60beta. Currently tested devices include the Nokia N95, N95 8GB and the upcoming Nokia N96. The software is also designed to run on other S60 3rd Edition devices, and as of early August 2008, the application is still being tested on these other devices.
