Psiloc Wireless Presenter
If you have Psiloc Wireless Presenter on your S60 2nd Edition or S60 3rd Edition device, you will be able to remotely control a PC to give PowerPoint presentations. Wireless Presenter uses the S60 device's Bluetooth technology or WLAN interface to control PowerPoint presentations, displaying your speaker notes on the S60 device display while controlling the presentation on up to auditorium-sized displays with a matching wireless interface. The application allows you to use the numeric pad of the S60 device to advance the presentation and go back, as well as to control such applications on a remote PC as Microsoft Windows Media Player or Microsoft Internet Explorer. The application also keeps timers running, so that you know how long you're spending on each slide, and on the total presentation.
Another interesting feature of the application is that it also allows you to display the S60 screen itself on the larger remote display driven by a PC. This, for example, allows you to actually show applications running on the S60 device to a roomful of people. This can be very handy when demonstrating S60 applications in a public forum. Psiloc Wireless Presenter is available from Handango.com, Nokia Software Market, and other distributors, as well as at the Psiloc Web site for $65 (48 euros). If you have a Nokia E90 Communicator, you can obtain a free license to the software by using the Download! feature available on that device.
