Nokia powers a global green on-line community called Connect2earth, which links people directly with the world's top experts to debate green issues. The site can also be accessed directly on mobile devices via www.connect2earth.mobi.

The site offers environmental experts' views on environmental themes and invites users to contribute with their ideas and opinions. Naturally, those using the site can also discuss all things environmental, and upload their photos and videos.

By expressing ideas and opinions on Connect2earth, users are not only connecting with others around the world, but also entering a competition. Every six months, one user will be selected from the top 10 site contributors to participate in the experience of a lifetime! Additionally, every other month, as the discussion theme is wrapped up, the jury will select a theme winner from the 10 best contributors to the discussion. The winner will be offered hands-on experience in a real on-the-ground conservation project somewhere in the world.
