Working with Virgin Atlantic, Nokia asked four inspiring individuals to make a film, using a Nokia N93i, about projects that motivate them to help protect the environment.

  • Live Aid and Live 8 producer Harvey Goldsmith learns how art can motivate people to recycle more. He visits Global Inheritance’s TRASHed project to find out. By turning ordinary recycling bins into works of art, the initiative aims to make a connection with people, encouraging them to recycle.

  • Director General of the WWF International Jim Leape sees how people can live in harmony with their environment. He tells us about a sustainable fishing community in Mexico that is making this a reality. Find out how you can support initiatives like this by choosing MSC certified products in your supermarket.

  • To protect the environment, we need to change the way we make everything from cars to surfboards. In Cornwall, UK, photographer Nick Waplington discovers why. Together with Chris Hines, founder of Surfers Against Sewage, he sees first hand the waste materials on the beaches of Britain that show “there is no away”.

  • Working with The Mount Kenya Trust, Sir Richard Branson is building an elephant corridor in Kenya. Enabling them to move safely between nature reserves without affecting the local community, it will provide a lifeline for the elephants and people that share their environment.

If you’re travelling with Virgin Atlantic in the near future, you’ll be able to catch the films on the in-flight entertainment system.
