Nokia Lumia 930
Where form meets function.
This phone is probably the best thing you can get now. With a powerful 20MP rear shooter, you can capture amazing pictures. Coupled with Nokia Camera apps, this is truly an amazing device, capable of replacing your everyday camera. That's not all, this phone packs a 5 inch, full HD ClearBlack OLED screen, which makes browsing the internet, or just navigating the phone, a truly eye-opening experience.

A fast, smooth running alternative to Android or iOS
I've had this phone now for a week. It's fantastic, I like it a lot. Everything runs fast and smooth, the interface is customisable to personal preference and it meshes seamlessly with a Windows 8.1pc.
255 000 games and apps versus 1 000 000 for Android or iOS. I haven't had any dramas with apps. facebook, Whatsapp, Viber, Skype all have official apps that fire up quickly and work well. 6snap for Snapchat works better on this than the official Snapchat app I had on my previous iPhone 3gs. Shazam Encore fires up quickly and works as it should. Having Office installed is a great bonus, very convenient and has added a productivity benefit I was lacking in my previous phone. Banking, data management, file management, dictionary, encyclopaedia, currency conversion, stock monitoring, skyscanner, Tune in Radio, Trapster, weather, dictionary, news, music, eBay, lifestyle....I have apps installed for all of those that work very well. So basically, for most of the major more common things you want to do with your phone you can get either the official equivalent of what you had on your previous phone or there will most likely be a professionally viable third party alternative.
The main camera takes fantastic photos, the front facing camera could be stronger but works well enough for taking selfies or face to face calls which I guess is it's main intended purpose.
The battery could definitely be stronger but it hasn't failed me on a thirteen hour work day yet so while it could be better, it does the job.
I have a one year old aftermarket Pioneer car stereo in my car with Bluetooth. Phone calls work fine with this. Music over Bluetooth works, but I have to use considerably more volume than I use with the radio or had to use with the iPhone. Once the volume is up though it seems to be of equivalent clarity as the iPhone was. Music via usb cable though does not work on my car stereo with this phone. I asked at the shop where I purchased the stereo yesterday and they said to contact Pioneer to see if they had an available firmware update. It will need this to work. I haven't had a chance to do this yet.
Previously I was an iPhone user of six years and I was a little apprehensive about changing, my experience with this phone after a week is overwhelmingly positive and I'm happy to recommend it to anyone seeking a viable alternative to Android or iOS or who are simply seeking a quality Windows phone.

The best Windows Phone so far
Picked up this orange looking phone about a week ago.
In terms of build, it is very solid - can match the solidness of an iPhone. Phone is also very nice to hold on hand.
Camera is very good as well, though I find the images a little soft for the night shots.
Overall, this is far the best Windows Phone I have owned so far.

You Gotta Get One
loving my choice moving back to Nokia, this phone is awesome. easy to use and you aren't restricted to any apps unlike the iPhones. I was always a Nokia person starting from the 5110 to the N series until apple made their launch. Coming back to Nokia Lumina 930 with the windows 8.1 is the best choice in phones I have done great apps fast don't lag, switching from apps is instant, loving to free music app lots of artists to pick from or just listen to the radio. The camera has a WOW factor loving all the different settings.
For the money I spent on buying my Lumia 930 outright it is worth every penny. More than half the price of a iPhone and you get more features, more apps, more freedom to do and download what I want when I want

By far the best looking phone I've ever had and I've had a lot of them from Symbian, Windows Mobile, iPhone, android and now to Windows Phone.
The phone looks stunning in green and it looks so good! I'm proud to show it off. It feels light in the hand and not as big as the 1520 either so it's easy for one-handed operations.
The OS itself needs no introduction as it's always has been and still is buttery smooth and a joy to use without the usual headaches you experience on phones like the Samsung galaxy s4 or android devices. Simply put no headaches or frustrations with Windows Phone.
If I were to summarise it then I would say it's where Beautiful hardware meets an elegant and feature rich OS. Best of both worlds. Thank you Nokia and Microsoft, it's for this reason I became a fan of Nokia again and of Microsoft. Well done to both teams!

Great Size, Extremely Good Camera, Powerful Device and Blazing Fast Speed. What more can a Geek ask for?
After one week with the device, I am happy to say that the Lumia 930 has officially taken over the position of my favourite WP8 device from Lumia 1520.
While the Lumia 1520 packs a hefty battery when compared to the Lumia 930, nothing come close to the experience that Lumia 930 can offer.
Pros - Blazing Faster Processing Speed, Camera has literally zero lag, Great Optics, Outstanding Designs and Clear crisp sound
Cons - Battery Life lacked, compared to a Lumia 1520 (I used to do 45hrs with Lumia 1520) so now with a Lumia 930, I am happy that I get 36hrs with every charge. Bad placement of Processor, resulting in overheating (bottom right corner of phone) with intense use (hope MSFT will solve this soonest)
Overall a highly recommended device - so to say that I have influenced 8 persons to buy this device in the past week.
Keep up the good work Nokia.

A refreshing change from the norm
Being an iPhone user for the past 4 years I fancied a change and for me a Windows phone was the only other sensible choice. I've tried Android in the past but never got on with it so I bit the bullet and purchased a 930. One word, brilliant. Screen is amazing and phone is blazingly fast. Wireless charging is a god send and Windows seems as slick as iOS to use. The app selection isn't yet up with the other two but it's getting there. Go on try something different unless dragging pointless widgets onto your home screen floats your boat.
