Nokia Lumia 710 - What can I do if get an error 800c000e in Zune while syncing pictures and videos from my Nokia Lumia phone?

The sync starts working again, once you have reseted .JPG (pictures) and .MP4 (videos) file associations for all users back to the system default.

Here is how you do it:

  1. On your PC, Click Start, and then click All Programs.
  2. Click Accessories, and then click Run.
  3. Type regedit, and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
  4. In the navigation pane, locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.jpg
  5. In the right-hand pane, double-click Standard (Default).
  6. In the Value data box, enter jpegfile and then click OK.
  7. In the navigation pane, locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp4
  8. In the right-hand pane, double-click Standard (Default).
  9. In the Value data box, enter mp4file and then click OK.
  10. Exit Registry Editor.
  11. Try to sync a photo/video taken with the phone.
