During the past few years Nokia has been actively acquiring companies with interesting new technologies and competencies, including also investments in minority positions. All of these acquisitions were targeted to enhance Nokia's ability to help create the mobile world.
Divestments
During the past few years Nokia has been divesting businesses which have not been a critical component to our vision of the mobile world. This strategy has enabled Nokia to focus on shareholder value by concentrating on the core competencies and business areas where we see the most value added and best growth opportunities.
