New arrival in our eco hero device family

We are happy to announce a new arrival in our eco hero device family, the Nokia Asha 311! The phone helps you save energy with an automatic screen brightness adjustment. Its plastic parts include also bio plastics, and it comes in a small and fully recyclable sales package including an energy efficient 5-star charger and a small user manual with a green tips page. Once you take the phone into use it provides you with preinstalled eco games - Climate Mission and Green Farm demo- encouraging you to learn more about the environment. You can download more eco applications to it from the Nokia Store Green Channel collection. When you no longer need the device, we’ve made sure that all materials used in it can be recovered either as materials or energy meaning it’s 100% recyclable like all our other devices.

Our eco hero devices carry the widest selection of environmental features and introduce new eco innovations. We believe that every device should be made with the environment in mind because that makes a bigger difference for the environment than just creating one or two “green” phones, and also gives greater variety of environmentally friendly phones for our customers to choose from.
