New mobile app features the amazing world of frogs

Fantastic World of Frogs is now available for downloading in the Nokia Store at http://store.ovi.com/content/230139. It’s a free-for-download app by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

The “Fantastic World of Frogs,” is an image gallery of frogs for the Nokia N9 smartphone and allows users to view spectacular photos of frogs, discover their habitat in the Colombian rainforest, and learn more about the incredible creatures.

The app results from a partnership between Nokia and SOS (Save Our Species), a global species conservation fund to protect threatened species and their habitats. Nokia is lead sponsor of SOS (Save Our Species) and helps raise awareness of the importance of species protection by the use of innovative mobile technology. Save Our Species aims at building a global coalition to halt the loss of biodiversity, inviting other innovative businesses across different industries to join the initiative.
