Your Privacy in JobLens app

Nokia's Privacy Policy explains how we process your personal data when you use our products and services. In addition, the following applies to your use of the JobLens app ('the Service').

What information do we collect?

The Service makes it possible for you to connect your social networks, such as Facebook and LinkedIn, to the application to create a network of connections. This information resides only within the app and is not provided to Nokia.

Whenever you interact with the map or the augmented reality view, your location may be transmitted to Nokia for the purposes of locating you on the map and providing you with the places nearby, either in the map or the augmented reality view.

Whenever you execute a search, that search is being executed by Indeed.

Whenever you interact with the application using your voice, the voice recognition component is provided by Microsoft and Microsoft’s Privacy policy applies to the voice collected.

If you create a resume with the Service, the resume is stored in Microsoft SkyDrive under your Live account.

The Service includes an element of collecting data about how you use the app and the features within. This is called the Nokia Improvement Program. The information for the program is collected for the purposes of improving the products and services. See the Product Improvement privacy detail for more info.

How do we use that information?

The information we receive in the context of the JobLens application consists mainly of the product improvement information and information required to provide you with the mapping and augmented reality experience. All that information is used to provide you with the Service and to develop and improve the services.

The interactions you have in the application may end up with you interacting with several providers. Please see above for further information on which parties you may interact with in the context of using the Service. We recommend that you revisit the privacy policies of those third parties to understand how each of those maintain the data collected in the context of your using the application.

What are your choices?

You can enable and disable the collection of statistical information for service improvement purposes from the application settings.

You can also choose to link and unlink the social networks you participate in from the application settings.
